Friends.
What are friend for?
Criticizing you?
Betraying you?
Making you jealous?
Leaving you to make new friends?
Are they always there for you?
Praising you?
Being with you through problems?
Caring for you?
What type of friends do you have?
I believe there are good and bad points you’ve seen in your friends.
For example,
When you are sick, will they call and show their concerns? Yes. They probably will. But that is only when you are in the hospital, right? They would come to visit you and ask if you’re ok. Everyone would come, friends, families, and even your enemies. But the only reason for them to be around is because you are in the hospital and you are probably seriously ill. But do they ever thought that even if you are sick and at home, you maybe seriously ill as well? I doubt it.
I believe everyone ever backstab a friend in front of other friends. Why does this happen? Did they ever thought of how their friend would feel when they found out about it?Did they even wonder how hurting it would feel? Do they know how it sucks to be backstabbed? Betraying a friend is shit. Those that betray their friends can just go fuck off. If you betrayed your friend and yet he or she can forgive you, you would simply take it that they are kind or soft hearted. Have you ever thought how much trust your friend put in you and therefore told you their secrets and yet you disclose them? When your friend start asking you why did you do it, you beat around the bush and give excuses such as.. “They was talking about a similar topic and I accidentally revealed your secret”' and “I told them because I wanted them to help you too but I had told them not to tell anyone else!” Rubbish. You know it yourself clearly. If it was an accident, it only means that you did not take your friend’s secret seriously and “accidentally” let it out. It’s ridiculous.
Everyone has different types of friends. When they have made new friend, they would leave you slowly. And every now and then, they will call out for a drink or so. When you all meet up, your friend would start talking about what have he/she has been doing, what kind of new friends have he/she made, how fun and happening it was. What they are telling you? To be jealous? To say that his or her new friends are better? Fun is not everything, it doesn’t mean that they are your true friends. Remember; don't judge a book by its cover. One day, when your new fun friends start betraying you, you would run and start crying to your old pals. So what’s the point of being fun? Only your real friends would understand you and I am sure, you ever had fun with them too.
You can share secrets and problems with your friends. But when in times of sadness, will they rush to meet you just to console you? Maybe they will. But what if, both of you are in a distant? Would they waste their money, time and effort to come?
You all know it. In the night, when everyone of them are sleeping and there you are having a fight with your boyfriend, crying silently and you need someone to talk to, you phoned your friend. Will they wake up specially to console you? Your friend will almost certainly tell you to stop crying and go to bed. Why? Because, they are tired and want to sleep as well!
When a friend strikes lottery and you start borrowing money from them, why did they lend you the money? It is because they really want to help you, or simply because if they don't, they are afraid that you would go around telling people about how stingy or selfish he/she is? Reputation may be very important, but the amount of money they won affects too. Let’s say, he/she won $10 000, and you asked him to lend you 1-2k, he will definitely tell you NO and give you a bunch of excuses. Even if it’s only a few hundred dollars, he/she will need to consider. In any case, I am sure what they would definitely ask is, “when will you return me the money?” Well, for some people, they will tell you to return them when you have the money. Actually, they are just lying to themselves. Because, they know in their hearts that, once they have no money, they would start chasing you around for the money.
Lastly, did your friend ever praise you before? For example like saying you are so brilliant, good looking, hardworking, kind, etc... I am sure when they heard those word they will be very happy. But why do some of your friend don't praise you? Is it because they are jealous of you? No one knows. It is very hard to judge someone because you'll never know what they are thinking.
Well, hopefully what i said is not an offence. I am just writing down my opininon.
